This new tool is especially useful for RecurDyn users performing RFlex analysis based on models from ANSYS. It enables users to easily generate *.cm, *.emat, *.mp, *.rst files on Workbench. These are special data inputs required by the RFI Maker in RecurDyn. The RFI Maker converts them into RFI, which is a binary data file that contains the modal representation of a flexible body in a Multibody Dynamics system.

Workbench users used to venture into the less familiar ANSYS classic environment to generate *.cm, *.emat, *.mp, *.rst files. Now with RFlex Generator for RecurDyn, users can generate these files in a few simple steps in Workbench, avoiding any inconvenience or interruption. Our new tool saves time and enhances the overall integration of ANSYS Workbench, Multibody Dynamics for ANSYS, and RecurDyn.
